Pranav Mistry and his Inventions
Ans.          Pranav Mistry, a student of Vividlakshi Vidyamandir, Palanpur had been dreaming from his school days and he did it. He studied in computer engineering from Nirma University, and post- graduation from IIT Mumbai. He took up job with Microsoft in Hyderabad. He worked on various fields like interaction design, robotics computer graphics, embedded systems, social computing and so on. He made several unique inventions. His "Tele Touch" lets interact with our world with touch, from a distance. We can control everything we see on the screen by touching it from distance. His "Sparsh" lets you conceptually transfer media from one digital device to your body and pass it to the other digital device by simple touch gestures.
His "SunFlower" lets us track the sun. It is an artificial sun. This concept is widely used in solar panels. The 'Sixthsense' is a wearable gestural interface that augments the physical world around us with digital information and let us use natural hand gestures to interact with that information.

Unit - 2 Read - 2 Short Note  Pranav Mistry - as a student And.          Pranav Mistry is a native of Palanpur, north Gujarat. He is the head of Think Tank Team, Samsung research America. When he was 11, he used to say that he would earn a lot if fame when he grew up. He was like any other child but his IQ powered him to the first rank in every academic year hr spent Vividhlakshi Vidhyamandir, Palanpur. As a school boy, he was good in every activity; be it is studies, music or sports. He studied in his mother tongue, Gujarati, and later joined Nirma University, Ahmedabad for hi BE in Computer Engineering. He went on to complete his post-graduation (industrial design) from IIT-Mumbai. He earned a job with Microsoft in Hyderabad and a president's award from APJ Abdul Kalam.
